While experiencing rapid growth, the client organization recognized the need to provide front-line supervisors a tool that they can use with their teams to both set individual and team goals and assess performance.
The Solution
Wedgewood collaborated with the client to develop and implement a customized performance management solution that front-line supervisors use when they work with their direct reports to set goals and assess performance. Wedgewood analyzed the organization’s current performance appraisal process and identified opportunities to both clarify and improve process steps. This approach allowed the client to systematically look at how they communicate performance expectations at all levels of the organization and how they listen to employee goals and create plans to achieve them.
The Result
This solution significantly improved the client's personnel appraisal system and facilitated the development and alignment of individual, team, and ultimately the organization's most important goals. The client was able to determine how to modify current practices to facilitate the communication of expectations and feedback throughout the organization.
