Wedgewood Wins Continuance of Workforce Development Program Contract with DoD Organization

CELEBRATION, FL— Wedgewood Consulting Group, Inc., a small, woman-owned management consulting and customized learning solutions firm, was selected in 2005 to provide workforce development program support to the Defense Institute of Security Assistance Management (DISAM) to develop and execute various training, education, certification, and career development programs. In March 2006, DISAM successfully deployed Wedgewood's customized Personnel Initiatives certification system, and as of October 1, 2006 Wedgewood has been selected to continue their work with these programs.

Wedgewood is continuing to implement new features in the Personnel Initiatives certification system and maintaining the customized on-line database, which allows DoD workforce members, from all military departments, to apply for professional certification. The system manages education, experience, and training information for thousands of DoD employees and facilitates the electronic application, submission, and approval process.

"Our selection for continuation of this important work further solidifies Wedgewood's position as the leader in providing DoD workforce development programs," said Jamie P. Leddin, principal, Wedgewood Consulting Group, Inc.
