Gordon-Michael Cox Earns CAPM® Credential

WASHINGTON, DC—Wedgewood Consulting Group, Inc., is proud to announce that Mr. Gordon-Michael Cox, Project Lead, earned the designation of Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) on January 24, 2007. The CAPM® credential recognizes Gordon's solid knowledge of the processes of project management and will enable him to effectively lead projects in the future. "Gordon's commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement is core to the Wedgewood philosophy of ongoing development both individually and as a firm. It is through this commitment that we will be able to continue to meet the changing needs of our clients," said Jamie P. Leddin, Wedgewood Principal.

"The CAPM® credential is another step in my professional development that ensures I possess the knowledge and skills to meet the project management needs of my clients. Earning the CAPM® has enhanced my ability to leverage Wedgewood talent and bring together the right mix of experience, education and training, to deliver solutions that consistently exceed client expectations," said Gordon-Michael Cox.

To be eligible for the CAPM® certification, Mr. Cox had to first meet specific education and experience requirements and agree to adhere to a code of professional conduct. The final step in becoming a CAPM® involved passing a comprehensive examination designed to objectively assess his knowledge of the processes of project management.
