Workforce Development
At Wedgewood Group, we believe that an organization’s greatest asset is the people who run it – ours included. Whether deploying a mentorship or training program aimed to prepare new executives to be tomorrow’s organizational leaders, or creating a system that enables pure flexibility within a given career path, we help your organization develop and maintain a sustainable workforce with the relevant skills needed to be successful at every stage of their tenure – helping your organization reach it’s long term business goals.
As with most initiatives, our approach typically begins with a detailed assessment of where your workforce currently stands within their professional development and gauging how well their skills promise to satisfy the future goals of your organization. Determining where your workers currently stand, enables us to best construct an outline of the skills that need improving and define what measures might be best to help address any inefficiencies and increase workers competencies.
Next we perform extensive research to identify the solution(s) best suited for your organization. The right workforce development program might be one that currently exists somewhere in the marketplace or one that has to be assembled from scratch. We exhaust all options before presenting our top recommendations.
Once the appropriate program has been selected, we begin the implementation process. Whether our role is to train, mentor, and coach your workforce ourselves, or function as a management liaison, monitoring / guiding an outside entity we have partnered with on your behalf, we coordinate every aspect of the workforce development program to ensure that each stage is executed according to the objectives that have been set, ensuring that the entire workforce is fully engaged and motivated to participate.
And of course, we closely monitor your workforce’s progression through the program to ensure that the participants’ competencies are improving in the manner sought and confirm that the program is meeting the objectives set forth during the initial planning stage – with frequently scheduled performance reviews to determine what revisions and / modifications, if any, might be needed.
